Dear
You’ve probably seen it before…
Organizations with “projects” scattered across multiple countries. Work carried out by “partners.” Large staff, high salaries - and only a fraction of funds ever reaching animals who need help.
This is not us!
The Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary does one thing, in one place - and we do it ourselves.
We exist to help street dogs and cats in a single, remote community in western Thailand. No international offices. No vague programs. No layers of administration between your gift and an animal who needs help today. When a dog is hit by a car… when puppies are abandoned near the jungle… when a cat is injured or starving in an alley - we respond directly.
What also makes us different is how we operate…
We rely heavily on skilled volunteers from around the world - veterinarians, veterinary nurses, animal caregivers, and helpers who donate their time and expertise because they believe in this work. Their generosity allows us to keep costs extraordinarily low and ensures that donations - nearly 100% - are used for exactly what they are given for: helping dogs and cats in need.
Every rescue. Every treatment. Every emergency surgery. Every spay or neuter. Every bowl of food. It all happens here, in Sangkhlaburi, through our own small team - supported by people like you. There is no waste. No dilution of purpose.
That focus matters. It’s what allows us to act quickly, stretch every dollar, and make sure your gift isn’t absorbed by overhead, branding, or bureaucracy - but turned into real, lifesaving, life-changing care.
If you choose to donate today - and I hope you will - you’re supporting every part of our work: emergency rescues for injured and starving animals… our sanctuary, where dogs and cats finally feel safe while they wait for loving homes… our clinic, providing treatment, surgery, and sterilization… and community education to prevent cruelty and suffering before it begins. |
