Dear
Not every story we share has a happy ending.
But today… this one does!
And it’s because of compassion like yours.
Somjud was a small, gentle dog who hung out by a local 7-Eleven store. She greeted everyone with a wagging tail, asking for nothing but scraps of food and a little kindness. And for a while, that was enough to survive.
Until one day, it wasn’t.
She was found lying by the roadside, her leg crushed after being hit by a car. In pain. Alone. Unable to stand. She was rushed her to our free clinic. We tried everything we could. But in the end, we had to make the hardest decision.
Her leg couldn’t be saved. It had to be amputated.
What followed was a long, painful recovery. Bandage after bandage. Days of healing. Weeks of uncertainty. And through it all… Somjud never lost her gentle spirit. She trusted. She endured. She stayed kind. |
