Dear
One question has long haunted us…
What happens when an emergency call comes in… and we can’t get there in time?
Here in rural Sangkhlaburi, emergencies don’t wait. Dogs are hit by cars on dark roads. Cats are found collapsed in remote villages. Animals are discovered far from help - injured, frightened, and running out of time.
Until now, our veterinarians have often had only one option: motorcycles. Two - sometimes three - people on a single bike. Medical supplies strapped wherever they fit. Racing over uneven dirt roads, crossing streams, riding at night. It’s dangerous. It’s unsustainable. And far too often, it’s been the only way we could respond.
For eight months, we searched relentlessly for a real solution - a dependable rescue vehicle that could safely reach animals in crisis and bring them back alive.
We inspected ambulance after ambulance - only to walk away when trusted mechanics warned us they were unsafe. We examined truck after truck - workhorses pushed beyond their limits. Leasing options existed, but at costs no small, volunteer-driven sanctuary could responsibly manage.
We refused to compromise. Because when a dog or cat’s life is on the line, there is no room for failure. And then - finally - after nearly a year of searching… we found it!
A modern, reliable truck. A workhorse. Low milage. Just one previous owner. Professionally converted. Fully equipped for urgent veterinary care. Built to handle rough terrain and remote rescues. And clearly branded to stand as a moving promise to the community that help is always available. |
