Bella came to us after she was dumped in the streets, heavily pregnant. Her puppies were taken in by an organaisation, but this mama was left on the streets. It was only a matter of time before she would be pregnant again, and she was vulnerable to all sorts of diseases. We took Bella to be spayed at a vets in a nearby town and she stayed with us to recover… the rest is history!

Bella is a soft and sweet girl who is still coming out of her shell and learning to trust us. She can be found sunbathing – come rain or shine! – on the grass in her pen and her tail starts thumping as soon as you look at her. Bella has met all of our other dogs and walks with Hamilton. Bella responds really well to our staff now, doing spins and low, deep howls of excitement when you go through her pen.

We are excited to see how Bella’s personality develops now she is safe and loved, and surrounded by new family.
