In the heart of the Thai jungle, along the border of Myanmar, the Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is doing the quiet, relentless work of compassion - reaching into markets, temples, and deep jungle villages to humanely reduce the suffering of dogs through spay and neuter clinics.

Every day, we see the harsh reality of animal overpopulation. Unwanted litters are born into lives of disease, starvation, abuse, and neglect. The cycle is heartbreaking - but it's not inevitable.

Spay and neuter is the key to breaking that cycle. It is the single most effective, humane method to control the dog population and prevent suffering before it starts. And thanks to the dedication of our small team and local volunteers, we bring this vital service directly to where it's needed most - to dogs living in temple grounds, jungle clearings, and bustling local markets.

But we don’t stop there.

We also provide free spay/neuter services to dogs that do have homes - loved animals belonging to families who simply cannot afford the cost of surgery. These dogs are cared for, but without our help, their owners would be forced to let nature take its course. That means more puppies, more suffering, and more strain on already fragile communities.

We can do more - but only with your support.

Each clinic costs money: for medical supplies, anesthesia, trained staff, and transport into these remote areas.
