Just four years ago, our sanctuary was nothing more than a derelict, trash-strewn lot - forgotten, crumbling, and filled with debris (including an old fishing boat!).  We knew the need was too great to ignore.  

So, we got to work…

With the help of dedicated volunteers and kind donors like you, we transformed that derelict space into a living, breathing sanctuary for some of Thailand’s most vulnerable animals - and they LOVE IT!

The Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is often the only hope for animals in need. The nearest veterinary clinic is a grueling half-day drive away - for most local families, professional animal care is simply out of reach - both financially and logistically. That’s why we provide free, 24/7 veterinary services - and never turn an animal away. No matter the hour, no matter the challenge - we are here.

It’s all thanks to people like you - the transformation of our space has been nothing short of miraculous.

We cleared away trash (including the old, abandoned fishing boat!), built cozy dog houses and planted a shady play yard.

Built a modern surgical suite.

Built an after-surgery recovery room.

Renovated quarters for our hardworking volunteers.

And we scrubbed, painted, and poured our hearts into every corner.

Today, we’re much more than “just a shelter.”  That once derelict property is a lifeline - a place of hope, healing, and second chances.

But the most important transformation has been in the lives of the animals: Rescued. Healed. Loved.

Every surgery, every spay/neuter clinic, every warm shelter and meal - it’s all made possible by your support. 

But we can’t keep it going without your support.

Our sanctuary runs 100% on donations. We receive no government funding. Every rescue, every surgery, every warm blanket and bowl of food happens because someone like you chooses to care.
