Meet Somjud
Somjud was once a familiar face around the local market. She lived quietly among the other street dogs, never causing any trouble, and was often checked on by P Pee after work. When P Pee noticed her one evening, she brought her to us to be spayed, then released her back, since she was otherwise healthy and happy in her familiar surroundings.
Sadly, Somjud later moved farther away from the bustle of the market, looking for a quieter place to sleep. One night, as she rested by the side of the road, she was struck by a car or motorbike. We were called immediately and rushed her to the clinic, where the vets worked hard to save her.
Somjud’s injuries meant she needed a leg amputation. It was a difficult time, but with expert care, time, and lots of love, she pulled through. Today, Somjud has adjusted beautifully to life on three legs. She is bright, gentle, and has a resilience that shines through every time you meet her. She loves people, enjoys being part of the sanctuary family, and shows us every day that nothing can dampen her spirit.
Somjud has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and is now ready for adoption. After everything she has overcome, she deserves the comfort of a safe home and the love of a family who will treasure her. Could you be the one to open your heart to this brave girl and give her the happy ending she has been waiting for? ❤️
