| You might remember Ruby – the tiny street puppy who came to us after being hit by a car. She was just skin and bones, terrified, and in pain.
And she couldn’t see the world around her. When Ruby arrived at our sanctuary, her vision was almost gone. We feared it might never return. But thanks to the generosity of friends like you, she has come so far. |

| With around-the-clock medical care, anti-inflammatories, and love, Ruby has started to heal. She’s no longer on heavy medication (much to her relief – she hated taking pills!), but the journey isn’t over. Not even close. |

| Ruby’s vision is still a mystery. She may only be able to see vague shapes and shadows. It’s possible that permanent damage to her brain or optic nerves means she’ll never see clearly again.
We just don’t know – and the next steps could include costly neurological or ophthalmic tests to give us answers. No matter what, she’ll continue to need specialized care, regular check-ups, and a lifetime supply of nourishing food and medicine. Ruby will never be alone again. She has a forever home here at the sanctuary. But to give her the care she needs, we need you. |
