Brighton was rescued in March 2024, at around one year old. Brighton was found on the main highway, scavenging. His appearance was shocking. He was barely more than bones, with sporadic clumps of fur hanging on amongst the mange and parasites.

But Brighton’s heart was still beating and his spirit still had some fight left, somehow. Sanctuaries are built for dogs like Brighton.

He was medicated and healing, sleeping peacefully without fear and worry, and finally enjoyed regular and plentiful meals to nourish his little body. Nowadays, Brighton is a strong young man with a gorgeous foxy tail to match his shiny coat!
