Brighton was rescued in March 2024, at around one year old. Brighton was found on the main highway, scavenging. His appearance was shocking. He was barely more than bones, with sporadic clumps of fur hanging on amongst the mange and parasites. But Brighton’s heart was still beating and his spirit still had some fight left, somehow. Sanctuaries are built for dogs like Brighton. He is medicated and healing, sleeping peacefully without fear and worry, and he’s finally having regular and plentiful meals to nourish his little body.
