Pirate was found by one of our staff living dangerously close to a busy main road. She had two siblings, but sadly only she survived. When Pipi went to check on her, Pirate was covered in ticks and fleas, so she was brought straight to the sanctuary for treatment. It was then we discovered she can only see out of one eye – we don’t know why, but it doesn’t hold her back.

Pirate has since made a wonderful recovery and has become best friends with Ruby here at the sanctuary – the two are inseparable and love each other’s company. Now fit, healthy, and full of life, Pirate is ready to find her forever home.

We believe Pirate and Ruby are both around 6 months old.
