Saving Lives in the Mist: Mobile Spay Camp Mission in Sangkhlaburi
Amidst the serene mist of Sangkhlaburi, a critical mission unfolds. Join the Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary (SAS) team and volunteers from around the world on a journey to bring health and hope to the animals of the Mon Community.
On December 12-13, our team set up a mobile field clinic to tackle the growing stray animal crisis in the local villages and at the famous Bodhgaya Pagoda. With a dedicated team of vets and volunteers, we worked against the clock to spay, neuter, and vaccinate over 100 dogs and cats.
In this video, you will see:
✅ The Mission: Setting up a sterile mobile hospital in the heart of the village.
✅ The Community: Local villagers trusting us with their beloved pets.
✅ The Challenges: Handling an emergency case where a mother dog suffered severe bleeding.
✅ The Impact: Returning healthy animals back to their homes and reducing the cycle of suffering.
This isn’t just about surgery; it’s about building a compassionate community and creating a sustainable future for Sangkhlaburi.
