The secret to a successful rescue mission? Patience, trust… and a few tasty treats! 🍢🐕
At SAS, we believe in “catching with kindness.” When we approach community dogs for sterilization and vaccination, our goal is to make the experience as calm and positive as possible. Instead of using nets or force, we rely on gentle voices, slow movements, and food — their favorite motivator — to earn their trust.
It might take a few extra minutes (and a lot of treats), but the reward is priceless: tails wagging, relaxed eyes, and dogs who feel safe enough to come closer on their own terms. By reducing fear and stress, we ensure every animal’s first contact with us is one of care, not panic.
Each rescue is more than just a medical mission — it’s a step toward a kinder, more compassionate way of managing our community’s stray population. Safe, gentle, and full of heart… that’s the SAS way. 💚
