Can you help us?
Here at Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary, we are on the front lines of animal welfare in one of Thailand’s most beautiful, remote regions.
THE REALITY:
Every single day, our community brings us dogs and cats in desperate need of medical care. From routine health checks and spay/neuter operations (like all the cats you see in the carriers!) to emergency surgeries and treatments (like this brave dog getting an ultrasound), the need is overwhelming.
THE PROBLEM:
We have a clinic. We have medicine. We have equipment ready to go.
What we don’t have is YOU.
We are critically short of skilled professionals. The nearest fully-equipped animal hospital is 4 HOURS away. For so many animals here, our small clinic is their only hope.
THE PLACE:
Sangkhlaburi is a breathtaking district of jungle-covered mountains, stunning lakes, and rich culture. You can explore the famous Mon Bridge (the longest wooden bridge in Thailand) and experience a side of the country few tourists ever see. It’s truly magical.
WHAT WE OFFER:
We provide comfortable accommodation (bedrooms) for our volunteers. We offer a chance to make a direct, tangible impact every single day, working alongside a passionate team and a grateful local community.
WHO WE NEED:
🩺 Veterinarians:
We need your expertise to lead treatments, perform surgeries, and help us save lives.
🩹 Vet Nurses/Technicians: Your skills are vital to keep our clinic running, care for our patients, and assist our vets.
❤️ Volunteers:
always need extra hands to help with animal care, feeding, cleaning, and supporting our clinic team.
YOUR TIME:
We need experts who can come and help us, for whatever amount of time you can spare. Whether it’s a few weeks or a few months, your time will change lives.
These animals can’t wait. Their futures depend on the kindness of people like you.
