Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is a donation based animal sanctuary and vet hospital in the rural town of sangkhlaburi, thailand
Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary was established in 2021 by Denise Emsley who has lived in Thailand for the past 15 years and worked with animal welfare organizations such as Kanchanaburi Soi Dogs and other local animal sanctuaries as far back as 2012.
While still in the early stages of development, the mission for Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is to not only provide an established, trusted animal shelter & adoption centre, but also a much-needed free veterinary clinic for local and surrounding communities.
An important part of this vision is the continuation of a successful international volunteer program, of which Denise has been at the forefront since 2015. Working together and with your help, we will be able to continue to provide much-needed resources to both animals and people in this remote and beautiful part of Thailand.
