Welcome to Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary
Located in the heart of Sangkhlaburi District in western Thailand, Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is a newly established animal shelter and free veterinary clinic .
Despite these seemingly new beginnings, Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is in fact the most recent venture of a small but dedicated team who (along with our invaluable benefactors and volunteers) have been working tirelessly for the cause of animal welfare within the local community since 2015.
It is thanks to these years of hands-on experience that we are delighted to see the vision of Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary finally come to life. We invite you to follow along and embark on this exciting new journey with us!

It is with huge excitement that we are able to unveil our brand new Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary!
Sangkhlaburi is a rural town in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, where the nearest veterinary clinic is a 4-hour drive away and many of the local people do not have the money or means to take sick animals there.
Covid19 has also stopped tourism, so we have been unable to welcome volunteers and vets who perform crucial work within the community such as spay camps. The animal population here is now out of control and their welfare compromised – they need our help!
We're On a Mission
Our mission is to save and improve the lives of as many cats and dogs as we can.
We fight tirelessly for animal welfare, and our main goals are to spay/nueter, vaccinate, and educate the local community.
On top of this we care for our resident animals, and try to find their perfect fur-ever homes.
