Not bad for a small clinic…

But the truth is, there is nothing “small” about what is happening here.

In just two months, at the Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary, our supporters made this possible:

•  431 walk-in consultations and treatments – animals who had nowhere else to go
• 133 spay/neuter surgeries – preventing thousands of future births into suffering
• 4 emergency pyometra (life-threatening uterine infections) surgeries – each one a race against time
• 3 cesarean sections – saving mothers and their puppies
• 2 tumor removals – giving animals a second chance at life
• 1 life-saving leg amputation – ending pain and saving a life

Every single one of these numbers represents an animal in need… and a moment where help that was needed was available when needed.

Because of friends like you.

In a remote, underserved region like Sangkhlaburi, there are no safety nets. No backup clinics down the road. No second chances if we are not here.

So, when a dog is hit by a car… when a cat is suffering from infection… when a desperate owner arrives with an animal in crisis… our small clinic becomes everything. And none of it would be possible without the generosity of our supporters around the world.

But the need never slows down. Every day brings more animals. More emergencies. More lives hanging in the balance.

Even though we stretch every donation to its absolute limit – the cost of simply being ready to treat sick and injured animals is substantial. By comparison, in the United States and Europe, the essential medicines and supplies that make treating a similar number of dogs and cats possible – anesthesia, antibiotics, pain relief, and basic consumables like sutures and syringes – can run well over $15,000 a month (and they bill a lot more).

Our clinic is FREE! We are not in this business to make money – we exist solely to help animals.

We operate with extraordinary efficiency, keep overheads to a minimum and rely heavily on volunteers and donated medicines, but the reality is:

Without continued support, we cannot be ready when the next animal arrives.
