Every wag, every purr, every second chance – is made possible thanks to friends like you!
Starving, injured, abandoned – but not alone! We give them LIFE!
In the remote border town of Sangkhlaburi, Thailand, countless animals live in pain – abandoned, injured, starving, and forgotten. But there’s a place where hope is alive. At Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary (SAS), we offer a lifeline.
Founded and run by passionate animal advocates, we are a completely free, donation-based veterinary clinic and shelter. We survive solely on contributions from animal lovers like you.
This is what people are saying…
It’s the best and most fulfilling experience ever. A donation-based clinic, good surgical equipment, and real help for a community that needs it. I go back whenever I can. The animals, the team, the mission – it’s not just a shelter. It’s a family. They need our help now more than ever.
– Dr. Sohaib Ahmed, Veterinarian
Our team responds to emergencies, performs life-saving surgeries, vaccinates street dogs, and comforts abused animals. But most of all, we give them love – and a chance.
We went to volunteer for two weeks, and we stayed for two months. We laughed, cried, walked dogs in monsoon rains, and said too many goodbyes. Each animal became a part of us.
– Katie & Luke, Volunteers
Your generosity makes all this possible. Without you, we can’t do any of it.
I’ve seen how the money is spent – it’s all on the animals.
– Daisy Hubbuck, Volunteer
If you want to give love and gain it back tenfold, this is the place.
– Oddrun, Visitor and Adopter
We work daily to bring compassion to every corner of our town. But the need grows – and we need you to grow with us.
Here’s what your gift can do:
- $10 feeds a shelter dog for a week
- $35 treats a wounded street dog
- $50 funds a spay/neuter surgery to prevent suffering
- $100 supports our mobile outreach clinics in remote villages
Be their lifeline!
Your donation helps us treat more animals, train more staff, and say “yes” when others have said “no”.
I came to volunteer for a week. I stayed for two years. That’s what this place does to you.
– Vicky Fawdry, Volunteer & Communications Manager
Thank you SO much for caring. You have my solemn pledge that we will always do our absolute best for dogs and cats in need.
With heartfelt gratitude,

P.S. Please donate today. Every life we save is made possible because someone like you cared enough to act. And if you’ve ever dreamed of making a hands-on difference, consider joining us as a volunteer – whether for a week or longer, you’ll change lives (including your own).
