A Canister on a Counter Can Mean Rescue, Food and Safety!
Help Turn Pocket Change Into Lifesaving Care for Dogs and Cats!
Want to make a big difference with just a little bit of change?
We’re inviting you to support the Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary through one of the simplest – and most surprisingly powerful – fundraising tools there is: coin canister fundraising.
You’ve seen it before.
A small canister by the counter of your favorite shop or café.
A few coins dropped in while paying for coffee or groceries.
It doesn’t feel like much in the moment. But when hundreds of people do it, day after day, those small acts of kindness truly add up.
In fact, McDonald’s raises over $50 million (about £38 million) every year for Ronald McDonald House Charities simply by placing donation canisters at the point of sale in restaurants around the world.
We may not be McDonald’s – but we have something just as powerful: people who care.
That’s why we’re launching our Canisters of Kindness initiative, and we’re hoping you’ll help us place them in high-traffic locations in your community, such as:
– Convenience stores
– Fast-food counters
– Gas stations
– Veterinary offices
– Hotels and hostels
– Local cafés and small shops
It’s easy. It’s effective. And it makes a real, tangible difference for the dogs and cats who rely on us every single day – animals who need food, medical care, emergency rescue, and a safe place to heal.
We’ll send you a canister free of charge.
All you need to do is ask a local business if they’re willing to host it.
That one small “yes” can help save lives.
To participate just contact me directly at [email protected].
If placing a canister isn’t convenient for you right now, you can still help by donating using the link below – every gift matters and goes straight to the animals who need it most.
Will you help us make this happen?
One coin. One canister. One life at a time.
With heartfelt gratitude,

PS: Let’s show McDonald’s what a small sanctuary with a big heart can do. Our dogs – and cats – are counting on us.
