Every day, animals arrive at our doors: dogs hit by cars, cats suffering from infection or injury, puppies and kittens who would never survive without intervention, families carrying beloved pets, hoping – sometimes desperately – that help will be here.

And it is! Because if we don’t help… there is nowhere else. The nearest alternative veterinary care is over 150 miles away – a journey of nearly four hours over difficult roads. For most people here, that might as well be another world.

But “free” doesn’t mean without cost.

It means WE carry the cost instead: every surgery, every dose of medicine, every life saved. This is only possible thanks to the kindness of people like you. Because while care is free to the animals and families who need it most… it is never free to provide. And the need is constant. There is no pause. No slow season.
