On Christmas Day, Santa visits our rescued dogs and cats!

BUT for animals still on the streets, the holidays can be deadly…

In Sangkhlaburi, the people who abandon or abuse dogs and cats don’t take the holidays off.

And neither do we!

On December 25 – just like every other day – our clinic phone will ring. A puppy hit by a truck. A mother dog starving behind a market. A cat with a wire trap around her leg. There’s no “out of office” for suffering. So, at the Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary, there’s no “out of office” for compassion, either.

We’re a small team serving a remote border community in Western Thailand, where the nearest outside veterinarian is hours away. That’s why our sanctuary and free clinic must be open -especially when it’s hardest. When most lights go dark, we keep ours on.
