Dog Are Being Dumped Where Kindness (Literally!) Lives – at Buddhist Temples!

The Monks Try Their Best to Help Them – But They Can’t Do It Alone!

In Thailand, Buddhist temples are meant to be places of compassion and sanctuary. But across rural communities like ours in Sangkhlaburi, they have also become dumping grounds for unwanted dogs.

People abandon puppies and adult dogs at temple gates believing the monks will somehow care for them. And the monks try.

But they are overwhelmed. They offer food and kindness but…

…without veterinary care, sterilization, or vaccinations, the dog populations quickly grow beyond control. Puppies are born into suffering. Sick dogs spread disease. Injuries go untreated. And the cycle repeats itself over and over again.

This is why our team regularly visits local temples – at least twice a week.

We bring sterilization services. Vaccinations. Medicines.

Every dog we sterilize prevents countless future puppies from being born into hardship. Every vaccine helps protect not just the dogs – but the surrounding community as well. And every temple we visit becomes a safer, healthier place for animals and people alike.

But we cannot continue this lifesaving work without help from compassionate supporters like you. These outreach missions require medicines, surgical supplies, fuel, transport, and ongoing care for dogs who are too sick or injured to survive on their own.

Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, many abandoned temple dogs who once faced hunger, disease, and endless breeding now have a chance at healthier lives. But there are still so many more waiting.

Please help us continue breaking this heartbreaking cycle.

Your gift today (in any amount, large or small, in any currency) will help provide:

• Sterilization surgeries to prevent future suffering

• Rabies and core vaccinations to protect vulnerable dogs and communities

• Emergency medical care for injured and sick temple dogs

• Food and recovery support for animals with nowhere else to turn

• Fuel and supplies for our mobile outreach missions

A single act of kindness can change the future for countless animals. And in a community like Sangkhlaburi, that kindness truly means everything. Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to donate today.

With heartfelt gratitude,

PS: Temple dogs did not choose abandonment. They did not choose hunger or disease. But together we can change what happens next. Please help us continue to bring aid to the poor dogs abandoned at local temples. The monks can only help so many.
