A child’s game turned into a life-or-death emergency…
Boo-Boo the cat survived. Many won’t – without your help!
And then, before we had even caught our breath… another emergency arrived.
A small house cat – affectionately called Boo-Boo – was rushed into our free clinic. He had been shot in the eye. A group of children, playing with a slingshot, had struck him with a stone. His family did everything right. They didn’t wait. They didn’t hesitate. They scooped him up and brought him straight to our clinic – hoping, desperately, that something could be done.
But the damage was too severe. To save his life, we had only one option: remove his eye.

It’s a decision no one ever wants to make. But otherwise, Boo-Boo would have suffered unimaginable pain… and he would not have survived. (The children responsible were made to face what had happened – to understand the consequences of a single careless act.)
And Boo-Boo?
He went home. He healed. He adapted. And today, months later, as you can see in the banner image – he is doing something remarkably better: He is living a happy life. He even returned to us recently to be neutered – and, true to form, came through it just fine (though we suspect he’s starting to wonder why every visit involves losing something!).
But behind Boo-Boo’s story is a truth we cannot ignore: not every animal gets this chance.
Boo-Boo survived because help was there when he needed it most. Because there was a clinic – our FREE clinic. Because there were supplies. Because there was a team ready to act – immediately.
Because of supporters like you.
We do not get to choose when these emergencies happen. We just must be ready to help them.
That’s why your support is so critical. Your donation today ($35, $50, $100 – what you are able today – in any amount, and in any currency) will help ensure that when the next Boo-Boo arrives – terrified, injured, and out of time – we can say “yes” to treatment, pain relief and give the poor animal a chance at a happy life.
With heartfelt gratitude,

PS: Boo-Boo’s story has a happy conclusion. He is safe, loved, and thriving. But so many others are still out there – waiting, suffering, and hoping someone will help. Please don’t wait. Your gift today ensures we are ready for the next emergency the moment it arrives.
